formatting external hard drives
so i got my friends 300gb and my 40gb hard drive corrupted or unable to format. i have tried the "right click on My Computer and choosing manage and then disk management." i have full and quick formatted them but i get the "unable to format."i have also right clicked the drive and chose format (quick and full) and i still get the "unable to format." did i truly corrupted these drives where i cant format to fix them anymore? is there no program to help me? please help.
